This role is field-based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.
The Senior Account Consultant position manages sales processes for AbbVie's therapeutic products in accordance with approved marketing plans. Assigned sales goals are achieved through consultative and value based selling techniques coupled with comprehensive account management while implementing the US Marketing Plan. Account Consultants provide technical product knowledge and support to ensure customer adoption of the product portfolio while delivering customer satisfaction. Effective use of sales and data resources will enhance productivity and provide growth to meet or exceed the franchise goals. - Achieve and exceed on your assigned sales goals through effective prospecting, onboarding and expansion of use for designated buy and bill eye care products.
- Deliver technical product and procedure training; consultative selling and comprehensive account management to support customer adoption and broaden utilization.
- Effectively utilize Abbvie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and growth of Abbvie products while implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
- Comply with all company policies, required reports, requests and promotional compliance and effectively manages Abbvie field assets.
- Understand and utilize resources to increase adoption of the Abbvie portfolio, and develop maintain effective working relationships and actively coordinate with other Abbvie sales and support teams. These teams include, but are not limited to Abbvie sales teams, Customer Service (Austin), RBAs, MSLs, Key Account Managers, and Marketing.
- Bachelor's degree or higher is required
- 3 plus years of injectable, medical or surgical sales experience, or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience required
- Experience selling in a “buy and bill” Medicare part B/Medical benefit environment and understanding of reimbursement challenges and opportunities
- A Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive a car
- Complete account management experience to ensure “procedure based” therapy adoption success
- This position can be filled with either a Senior Account Consultant or Account Consultant depending on experience.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
