Job description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished in vitro biologist to join our cutting-edge immuno-oncology pre-clinical research team. The successful candidate will have expertise in immunology and oncology and excel at cellular and molecular biology techniques.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary research team in an exciting, fast-paced environment under the mentorship of a supervisor
- Culture immune and cancer cells, and develop, optimize and perform cell-based assay to interrogate immune and tumor cell function with standard cellular, biochemical, and molecular techniques
- Critically analyze/interpret data, accurately document, and promptly communicate the results.
- Understands project goals, suggest, design and pursue relevant experiments that further project goals
- Independently schedule and prioritize workload to manage several tasks simultaneously and identify/ utilize resources outside of own group
- Critically evaluate emerging scientific literature and participate in scientific meetings. S tays current with and adopts new technologies and emerging cancer targets .
- Efficiently organize and present scientific plans and data at project team meetings
- Scientist I: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with typically 5+ years of experience or a Master’s degree (or equivalent education) with 2+ years of experience .
- Scientist II: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with typically 7+ years of experience or a Master's Degree (or equivalent education) 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in immuno-oncology drug discovery is a plus
- Broad and versatile technical expertise in immunological, cell/molecular biology, and/or biochemical assays (flow cytometry, cell culture techniques, immune cell function assays, qPCR, ELISA, immuno-blotting, lentiviral transduction, cell line engineering, etc) and assay development
- Demonstrate the ability to independently design, execute and interpret critical experiments
- Proven ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver high-quality results in a timely fashion.
- Highly developed communication skills and keen ability to engage internal and external team members in collaborative research
- Solid adaptability to promptly learn new science concepts and techniques, and apply knowledges to new targets and research fields.
