Are you a motivated histotechnologist searching for a position in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment in a company with a great culture? This might be an opportunity for you! We are seeking an individual who will perform histology for immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will work in a group providing research support in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety studies. Being detailed oriented is critical to this role.
Specific activities will include:
- Routine histology (e.g., tissue trimming, tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning of paraffin embedded and frozen tissues)
- Routine and special histochemical staining
Additional tasks include:
- Using computer-based laboratory tracking system (Sample Manager), Dream Path
- Willingness to get creative when working with novel tissues or challenging pathology endpoints.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education with typically 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree or equivalent education with typically two years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Histotechnologist Certification (HTL) preferred
- Skilled at tissue grossing, embedding, FFPE and OCT sectioning required
- Experience with sectioning tissues/samples for advanced molecular techniques including spatial transcriptomics platforms would be helpful
- Ideally 2-5 years of experience within a histology/pathology laboratory

75000 - 142500 USD
Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
