Scientific Director, Precision Medicine, Neuroscience

• Precision Medicine lead responsible for designing and implementing the precision medicine strategies for Neuroscience drug development programs using the appropriate modalities such as imaging, fluid-based biomarkers. Working in collaboration with the Digital Health team to implement brain function measures and/or digital approaches. 
• In collaboration with the Digital Health team, develop and coordinate a digital health strategy across AbbVie areas of interest including psychiatry and neurology (e.g., migraine, movement disorders, neurodegeneration).
• Work with precision medicine neuroscience leads and internal partners such as Digital Health Technologies and statistics.
• Responsible for effectively presenting scientific concepts and results to diverse scientific and non-scientific leaders.

•Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field with 20 years or more of related work: Master's Degree in Science or related field or PharmD with 18 years of related work;  PhD in Science or related field with 12 years of related work experience

•Proven ability to innovate with a history of successful new or improved product releases

•Ability to advise discipline experts and leaders within the function on how to manage their particular risks

•Interacts well with diverse groups and maintains a strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators

•Listens and understands others' point of views and articulates tactfully and respectfully one's own perspective orally, in writing, and in presentations

•Interpersonal skills capable of negotiating and reconciling interdisciplinary differences, optimizing overall business goals
