We currently have a Sample Pull QA Technician role at our site in Westport Mayo.
The role within the stability management team is to control and ensure the efficient management and delivery of samples to all testing labs namely Botox, Unit dose, Multi dose and Ozurdex samples. Other aspects include the management of incoming and outgoing shipments, sample disposal and sample retention
Responsibilities:
· Daily sample pull for Pharma and BOTOX — Including stability, release and complaints
· Collection, breakdown and organization of shipments
· Use of laboratory IT systems including LIMS and SAP
· Glass vialling and labelling of bulk
· Sample disposal — Stability, release and retains for Pharma and BOTOX
· Adhering to all company standards in the areas of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies
· Ensure good housekeeping
· Rotating shifts monthly
· Work with a team, Supervisors, Quality Manager and Laboratory Manager to ensure compliance to Quality Management System
- Computer skills proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, instrumentation related and AbbVie network systems
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance
- 2+ Experience in a manufacturing/finishing environment is desired
- Previous knowledge of GMP regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products is desired.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
