Job Description

AbbVie China is preparing to launch an innovative neuroscience treatment in the Greater Bay Area under the early access policy. We're seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive in-field execution and engagement across designated GBA hospitals.

As a front-line leader, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving uptake, nurturing key HCP KOL relationships, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless launch success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial execution in assigned GBA hospitals to drive product adoption and market penetration
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including KOLs, hospital decision-makers, and prescribing physicians
  • Support patient access initiatives and early experience programs
  • Monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategy as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, KA, market access and trade functions to align and implement go-to-market plans
  • Stay ahead of market developments and competitor activities to inform strategy
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above with 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Proven track record in hospital-based selling, preferably with experience in neuroscience or specialty care
  • Prior exposure to GBA projects and early access programs is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about improving patient outcomes
