We have an opportunity for a Regional Patient Experience Manager in our AbbVie Care for Immunology division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional cooperation by coordinating an effective multidisciplinary field team to ensure strategic and tactical alignment between the Patient Experience managers and other field-based and brand team activities.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a strong strategic approach and understanding of the patient journeys, AbbVie Care analytics, access, and reimbursement to ensure the AbbVie Care experience is optimized for patients on our Immunology medications.
- Develop & Implement AbbVie Care regional strategic Immunology patient support program (PSP) plan .
- Build coordinated and cross functional plans involving the AbbVie Care field based teams to target specific opportunities to improve our PSP offerings.
- Work closely with assigned clinics and health care professionals (HCP) in order to adjust program elements as required.
- Foster proactive continued quality improvement and conduct regular reviews with a targeted group of HCP.
- Identify opportunities and key projects where patient care could be optimized and build and lead the targeted action plans.
- Ensure key projects are properly scoped and managed to meet quality and budget objectives, as well as tied to specified timelines and milestones.
- Lead and execute AbbVie Care cross-functional initiatives or special projects that will enhance patient-focused services and solutions.
- Work in the field and perform regular calls with physicians and/or office staff to execute project plans and build strong customer relationships.
- Develop relationships and gain trust quickly with internal and external partners.
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, to IMC and PIPEDA guidelines as well as internal standard perating procedures.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Science, or Medical designation is preferred but not required.
Location
- Reside in Quebec or Atlantic Canada
Experience and knowledge
- Relevant experience with proven track record of success within biotech/pharma
- Broad business perspective and strong understanding of strategic drivers
- Compile patient and customer insights from data and analytics
- Strong patient support program experience is critical
- Strong understanding of reimbursement & access landscape
- Project management principles and methods
- Expertise in Immunology therapeutic area is critical
Essential skills and abilities
- Lead cross-functional plans with colleagues not under your direct supervision.
- Strong decision-making behaviour and prioritization to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the patient, PSP and brands.
- Work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Ability to negotiate projects, resources and timelines
- Deliver high quality customer service & client management to partners of the program.
- Demonstrate political savvy and strong business acumen.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Intermediate knowledge of specific databases such as FORCE
Travel
- Travel within the district/territory and national meetings about 20-30% of the time as required (this can vary from one territory to another).
- Available to work outside works hours, on occasion.
