Job Description

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a Quality Engineer to join our team in Ballytivnan for a 12 month Fixed-Term-Contract. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that products manufactured at our site meet approved specifications and adhere to current good manufacturing practices and Regulatory Agency requirements. You will collaborate with the Quality Team to achieve our Quality goals and objectives, ensuring all actions are compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Coordinate and ensure compliance with assigned elements of the Quality System.
  •  Audit quality systems and manage customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  •  Oversee daily CAPA requirements and verify effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
  •  Measure and report on Quality System performance, supporting management reviews.
  •  Train plant personnel on quality standards and ensure documentation compliance.
  •  Manage supplier Quality relationships and inspect incoming products.
  •  Participate in continuous improvement and risk management activities.
  •  Support validation activities and ensure complete, compliant documentation.
  •  Conduct product testing and manage batch records for lot release.
  •  Lead by example in regulatory compliance and contribute to achieving quality objectives while adhering to EHS policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Desired experience with quality systems regulations (ISO13485/ISO9000; CFR 21 Part 820), and familiarity with injection moulding or tooling environments.
  • Green Belt qualification or industrial statistics knowledge is preferred.
