Difference makers wanted
We are now recruiting for a QC Technician to join our high performing Quality Control team in Westport, Co. Mayo. In this role you will be following detailed IQA procedures. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming components in our Pharma Business Unit and releasing Production and Packaging components across all Business Units.
Flexibility around shifts is required, as this is a shift based role, working the second (evening) shift.

Key responsibilities:
- Release of Production and Packaging components across all BU's
- Issue components to Packaging / Production
- Complete In -process checks in the BU's.
- Visual Inspection/ PA testing of Finished Product
- Complete complaints investigation for complaints department on GTW
- Participate in QA and EHS Gemba’s
- Paperwork review, logbook review
- Audit preparation and participation
So, what do you need to do this role?
Qualifications
- Third level Science qualification advantageous but not critical.
- Proven track record in a quality discipline in the Pharma/Medical Device environment
- Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Good communication skills and team player.
- Ability to use sound judgment to make effective decisions within appropriate timeframes.
- Proven to be self-directed, self-motivated and ability to prioritize competing priorities.
