Job Description

Position Summary:

The Forecasting Center of Excellence (COE) Program Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating and driving the successful execution of multiple high-impact projects aimed at enhancing forecasting capabilities across US Therapeutics. This individual will manage multiple, simultaneous projects.  Projects may include development of a common data warehouse to support forecasting, integration of the data warehouse with existing forecast models, creation and development of visualization tools for forecast presentation/communication, and deployment of advanced forecasting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Coordinate the development of a common data warehouse, ensuring it meets the needs of all therapeutic area teams.
  • Support efforts to integrate the data warehouse with existing forecast models, ensuring seamless data flow and usability.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of standardized visualization tools to enhance forecast presentation and decision-making.
  • Closely track project scope to ensure that changes do not create risk to project timelines.

Program Coordination:

  • Oversee and manage multiple concurrent projects within the Forecasting COE, ensuring alignment with overall objectives and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across all initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a central point of coordination between the Forecasting COE, BTS, and external technology support vendors.
  • Coordinate regular meetings to align stakeholders, address challenges, and ensure smooth communication across teams.
  • Identify situations where additional partners / partner functions may be required, align with leadership, and engage new stakeholders to onboard them to the project.  Stakeholder functions may include Change Management, MABI, Patient Services, etc.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify, track, and report on potential risks and issues across projects, and work with technical leads to developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Proactively engage necessary stakeholders to resolve conflicts and challenges that may arise during project execution.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Regularly update leadership on project progress, key milestones, risks, and achievements.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Track utilization of project budget and report any overages or identified risks.
  • Supply data as required to broader organizational work streams, e.g. Finance Transformation, to ensure performance is tracked and reported appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably within a forecasting, analytics, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting processes and systems.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse architecture and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
