Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operator to join AbbVie Cork on a 12 month contract supporting our production line.

Responsibilities include:

  • Following Quality Assessment requirements, GMP standards, and all applicable SOPs for equipment, plant operations, and production processes.
  • Carrying out production activities according to the schedule, manufacture order, and work instructions.
  • Preparing the work area by checking schedule accuracy, workplace readiness, and materials, including codes, lot numbers, expiry dates, and FIFO compliance.
  • Completing preparatory, process, and post-production tasks, including batch documentation, product identification, and sealing containers.
  • Operating assigned equipment such as mills, granulation, blending, tabletting, coating, inspection, dispensing, and encapsulation machinery.
  • Meeting OEE targets for cycle times and changeover times across all processes.
  • Completing Master Batch Paperwork accurately and in step with production progress.
  • Performing in-process testing, investigate deviations, notify supervisors when needed, and complete quality control documentation.
  • Following safety regulations, report incidents or concerns, and contribute to a safe and clean workplace.
  • Maintaining good hygiene, professional conduct, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A Leaving Certificate or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge/Interest in process Equipment and manufacturing.
  • MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.                   
  • Good communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
