About the Bridge Program
AbbVie’s Bridge Program is a 6 months structured market immersion initiative designed to bridge the gap for experienced pharma professionals who have relocated to the UAE but lack local market experience. The program provides hands-on exposure to the UAE pharmaceutical landscape while fulfilling specific business needs. Candidates will gain in-depth market knowledge, build key relationships, and develop their expertise within a multinational corporate environment over a six-month period.
Purpose
As a Product Specialist – Bridge Program, you will execute AbbVie’s brand strategy and drive field sales performance in your assigned territory. You will gain hands-on exposure to the UAE market while leveraging your experience from culturally similar markets. This role is ideal for pharmaceutical professionals with 2-5 years of experience in multinational companies who have recently relocated to the UAE and are looking for an opportunity to build their local expertise.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve sales performance targets by executing brand strategies and marketing objectives.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, the market landscape, and competitive dynamics to drive sales performance.
• Plan and execute customer interactions effectively, ensuring meaningful engagement with HCPs.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, positioning AbbVie as a trusted partner in patient care.
• Share market intelligence with in-field teams and brand managers to support strategic decision-making.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and establish relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and disease area experts.
• Ensure compliance with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company in Home Country
• Experience in culturally similar markets (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, etc.).
• Newly relocated to the UAE and actively seeking career opportunities.- No Prior Experience in UAE.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
• High adaptability and willingness to learn in a new market environment.
• Commitment to the six-month program, with a passion for growing within the UAE
