In the role of Product Owner – Enterprise Processes Productivity, you will join a diverse, enterprise team that invests in your customized career growth and uses technology and data to positively impact people’s lives.
As an Product Owner – Enterprise Processes Productivity you are part of Employee Experience team. This team is focused on enhancing productivity with friction-free processes, quick answers to common questions, and simple task automations – creating the flexibility, space, and time for colleagues to work on what matters most – discovering and delivering solutions that address complex health issues.
Our organization is delivering AI-powered intelligent virtual assistant (chatbot) that will measurably improve employee productivity for our 50,000+ employees worldwide. In this role, you will be working with cross functional areas to define use cases, prioritize value, and design solutions to extend an AI-powered chatbot, and ensure the final product delights our employees. In this role, you will get the chance to work with a wide variety of stakeholders from BTS and the line-of-business functions that BTS supports.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Business Process and Requirements: You elicit and communicate organization’s business strategy and work directly with business units and IT clients to capture business processes and needs as well as opportunities for improvement. You identify IT capabilities and information required to support the business processes and collaborate in the development of appropriate information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the enterprise strategy.
- Business Case Development: You identify current and emerging business needs and evaluate alternative technology solutions using standard information systems methodologies and best practices. You proactively seek out strategic business opportunities with business unit executives for the application of new or existing technology capabilities.
- Business Value Delivery: You develop technology strategies that measurably meet the requirements of the business. You identify the business benefits of alternative strategies. You ensure alignment between business strategies and technology directions and quantify value of investment.
- Solution Alignment: You are accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed solution to the business needs and the information upon which the business justification and prioritization decisions are made. You are accountable for communicating the business need and drivers to development groups to assure the implementation phase can fulfill the business need.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop strong cross functional business relationships and integrate activities with other organizations and cross functional teams to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Lead communities of practice, meetings with key stakeholders at various levels of leadership. Collaborate across various business and IT organizations to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, meet the requirements, and technical standards of IT delivery.
- Change Management: Serve as point of contact to stakeholders, gathering feedback and incorporating it into product development. You identify process disconnects and translate them into improvement opportunities with cost savings or avoidance, productivity improvements, or revenue generating business benefits. You develop business relationships and integrate activities with other organizations and cross functional teams to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze user feedback, user research, chatbot data, and input from cross-functional stakeholders to find insights and recommend product improvements. Apply business and technology knowledge to identify use cases in various domains and make recommendations to simplify complex work processes.
- Strong Ownership: You exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives of assignment. You have defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects. You establish organizational objectives and delegate assignments. You are accountable for actions and decisions taken by self and subordinates.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience.
- Agile methodologies, scrum, and Kanban frameworks experience
- Business case development, value mapping, and user stories development in enterprise environment/systems
- Demonstrated experience in creating and executing data driven, risk-based test strategies
- Experience mapping current and future processes using digital tools
- Experience working in a complex, cross functional teams
- Demonstrated excellent analytic, judgment and consultative capabilities
- Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with both IT staff and business
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for enhancing user experience
Beneficial
- Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge & experience in AI-Systems and chatbots, co-pilots, AI agents
- Prior experience working with UX design teams & conversational design interfaces is a bonus
- Experience with data analysis and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Spotfire
- Experience with data mapping, data trends using NLU
- Experience with structure data from systems such as ServiceNow, Unily, and Contentful
- Experience with AI ingestion and interpretation of unstructured data such files in PPT, PDF, and Word
- Experience with IT, HR, Finance, and Procurement enterprise systems
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
- JIRA and ServiceNow for Software Lifecycle
- Mural or similar for leading workshops and business case development
- Miro, Visio, or similar for process mapping
- Elevated Microsoft Office skills – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Forms, Stream
- Prompt engineering skills using Generative AI tools and experience building conversational design
- Video training development (micro training via PowerPoint video recording or similar)
- Power BI or Spotfire or similar analytics tools for visualizing data
- Good documentation and best practices for agile software lifecycle
- Clear interpersonal communication, proofreading, editing, and formatting skills

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
