Job Description

As a Regional Account Manager with Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, you will partner closely with our Field Sales Representatives to support our customers. This position partners with two Hospital and/or Aesthetic regional territories and is the primary point of contact for their Reps—anything from generating reports, researching invoice discrepancies, advising on marketing promotions, analyzing inventory solutions, and more. We are looking for individuals who take pride in being a trusted advisor—a relationship builders that have an analytical mindset, find creative solutions, and have SME-level system navigation skills. The Regional Account Manager is passionate about sales enablement through a customer service and operational lens and thrives in a fast past environment where quick decisions and deep product and system knowledge is the key to success.

 

  • Support our Field Sales team by working in two Regional support email inboxes and answering direct phone calls
  • Send weekly MBO emails to Regions outlining time-sensitive deliverables like inventory due-back reports, expiring unit pull-back, tissue rotation, consignment inventory audit schedule, etc.
  • Triage work to the Associate Account Manager team. Offer coaching/mentorship to the Assoc. team members
  • Own the relationship between sales and all internal departments to coordinate issue resolution (Accounts Receivable, Compliance, Marketing, Credentialling, etc.)
  • Be an advisor on basic product knowledge (portfolio, labeling, competitors, applications) and product/brand specific policies (returns, inventory management, etc.)
  • Transactional support including but not limited to:
    • Orders: Evaluation and sample orders, Rep Personal Inventory, expired unit swaps, bulk buys, exchanges, transfers, MSL restocks, START and Rising Star Program orders and enrollment
    • AR Support: PO Changes, debits, credits, contract pricing discrepancy retrocredits, AR block resolution/removal
    • Research: Tracking information, serial number history reports, inventory reports, product searches for emergent case needs
    • General Rep Support: Advise on programs and tools programs and tools (EDI, Allergan Direct, Alle, Move Medical, PSP, Consignment etc.)

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to modify communication delivery based on the audience
  • Ability to multi-task—juggling inbound phone calls, a shared mailbox, and ad hoc reporting requests from team members
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills both internally and externally
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CRM/ERP systems, and end to end customer operations processes
  • Works well in a metrics-driven environment, with an emphasis on efficiency and individual production
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a client-facing role with a similar function
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university preferred or a combination of education and relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or relevant industry experience
  • Advanced SAP navigation. Excel formulas & pivot tables
  • Flexible availability to cover calls over multiple time zones within the US
  • Bilingual Spanish

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
