Job Description

Purpose

Supplies materials to packaging areas and packaging process, among others. Coordinates and documents the entry and exit of material through the use of the electronic system. Makes sure to maintain an appropriate level of materials in the storage area.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the correct documentation of the tasks performed according to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
  • Responsible for routine manual production tasks including area and equipment cleanup, Line Clearance, part assembly, wrap pallets or materials, refill boxes, equipment’s or tray, identify material (labeling), and participate in packaging process and task.
  • Checks and segregates raw materials, packaging components and miscellaneous materials for the lot to be packed.
  • Transfers and locates palletized materials to Warehouse and general storage areas to ensures proper level of materials is maintained.
  • Identifies and accounts for the material to be used in the packing station and verifies that the material to be used meets the specifications including discards material during the packaging process.
  • Coordinates and documents the output of finished product, return or receiving of materials and disposal of raw materials using the SAP system.
  • Dispatches miscellaneous material required for assigned areas or supporting departments
  • Maintains assigned area of responsibility according to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP;s) of order, cleanliness and safety.
  • Received and dispatch bulk product for packaging orders according to the current itinerary schedule.
  • Assist the production coordinator when necessary and/or performs other tasks assigned by the Supervisor and/or Coordinator.

Significant Work Activities:

  • Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
  • Awkward/forceful/repetitive motions (arms above shoulders, bent wrists, etc.) is required
  • Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
  • Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
  • Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
  • Frequent to continuous computer usage (greater or equal to 50% of the workday) is required
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weights of more than 20 lbs/9 kgs on a daily basis is required
  • Wear ear plugs
  • Work at heights, e.g. ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, etc.
  • Work in a clean room environment
  • Work in noisy environment

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, minimum education required. 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing operations environment is required
  • Experience in manual or electrical hand truck preferred.
  • License for forklift certification could be required.
  • Ability to work under a minimum of supervision in an environmental of multiple and changing priorities, where the employee may be attending more than one functional area and need to rotate from one area to another according to the needs of the business.
  • Basic skills in math and computer systems.
  • The selected candidate must be available to work on a 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) Monday to Friday. Available to work weekends and holidays, as per business needs.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​​
