Operational Excellence Associate Specialist

Within Operations, the Operational Excellence Analyst provides data interpretation and insights from a wide variety of sources to inform and guide decisions in key strategic projects. Under the direction of the Director, Operational Excellence, this role supports critical business projects by gathering, generating and analyzing data to clarify areas of opportunity and improvement. The Operational Excellence Analyst will deliver insights to assist in the resolution of complex business issues.

Responsibilities

• Generates supporting data for identification and completion of improvement targets.
• Evaluates complex data sources, derives insights that address business issues and makes recommendations for action.
• Develop Performance Measurement solutions that track progress and improvement.
• Supports Change Management initiatives across Operations.
• Implement process and systems thinking approaches to data gathering and analysis.

Significant work activities:

• Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
• Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
• Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required

• Frequent to continuous computer usage (greater or equal to 50% of the workday) is required

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
• Previous experience and knowledge in Lean Six Sigma Principles and Operational Excellence tools (such as DMAIC, and SIPOC) is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting projects and operational excellence initiatives with site cross functional teams is highly preferred. 
• Financial acumen; able to take high volumes of data and synthesize into clear insights for use in decision making.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​
