Job Description

Candidates for this position can be located in either Florham Park, NJ or Mettawa, IL. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. 

Purpose:

The Marketing Manager, Consumer Marketing, plays an integral role in driving success by leveraging DTC strategies and best-in-class execution in support of the Migraine Franchise and the extended cross-functional Consumer Team. As a member of the Neuroscience organization 

Responsibilities: 

  • Translate brand strategy into omnichannel marketing plans that reflect the positioning of the brand, while aligning to brand objectives Pull through strategic direction for agency partners and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on time, on budget, and in alignment with strategic goals 

  • Utilize marketing skills to lead the creative development and deployment of insight-driven, channel-specific, and personalized content 

  • Work closely with marketing team, media agencies and partners to build and optimize yearly marketing plans 

  • Work with cross functional team to monitor channel performance, report on key metrics, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and engagement  

  • Work with cross functional partners to enhance brand messaging and strengthen promotional claims within the label.   

  • Make proposals and recommendations based on business direction, market dynamics and data. 

  • Work with research/analytics teams to generate and analyze consumer data/insights to inform and improve audience focus and tactical execution. 

  • Maintain awareness of relevant market dynamics and trends, and the application on the franchise and business plans. 

  • Effectively communicate the strategy and objectives of your work to internal cross-functional partners and sales leadership to drive brand business objectives. 

Competencies:

  • Competency in core marketing capabilities such as creative development, translating analysis to insights, optimization across the marketing mix 

  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams (internal and external), including timeline and budget management 

  • Strong written and interpersonal skills  

  • Self-starter and proactive attitude 

  • Strong collaboration skills  

  • Success working in a matrixed organization to drive alignment to brand objectives 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Marketing experience with proof of building proficiencies in all marketing skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of Consumer marketing or relevant marketing experience. Media experience strongly preferred.
