Job Description

As a valued member of the BOTOX® Therapeutic’s Urology Marketing team, the Marketing Manager II is a unique position as this is a hybrid marketing role.  This role is attractive as a developmental move for someone that has consumer experience and is looking for HCP experience or has HCP experience and is looking for consumer experience.

In this role you have primary responsibility for managing and implementing patient-facing marketing initiatives and secondary responsibility for HCP-facing marketing initiatives to support brand awareness, consideration and adoption goals.  On the consumer side the omni-channel marketing mix includes, but is not limited to; programmatic, search, and website design and development for BOTOX® Urology. On the HCP side you work closely with an experienced counterpart to share responsibility for some of the HCP-facing projects. For all projects you will work closely with a broad cross-functional team including external partners such as media and creative agencies, and internal partners including analytics, digital engagement, regulatory, legal, public affairs, and medical teams.

In this role you must demonstrate the ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all elements of consumer marketing tactics are rooted in the core business objectives and consistent across all channels. Critical to the role will be exceptional project management abilities, modern marketing acumen, data analytics, budgeting, and a sharp consumer lens.

Scope & Key Skills:

  • Lead and manage an ecosystem of internal and external partners, including creative agency, media agency and web development team to ensure partners have clear direction to execute on time and within budget.
  • Think innovatively regarding the application of new tactics and marketing solutions grounded in market research and other customer insights to inform creative decisions.
  • Lead the technical management and implementation of marketing tactics, coordinating with internal IT development teams to ensure relevant technical updates are planned and deployed in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and analytics space, inclusive of digital display, paid search, and website marketing, and familiarity with digital targeting, activation, trafficking, and measurement.
  • Attend review meetings with Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Compliance counterparts to ensure all creative meet requirements
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up, anticipate problems, and find solutions.
  • Provide analysis and reports on marketing campaigns.
  • Manage overall consumer marketing budget.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in related field required, MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 1-2+ years of marketing/brand management experience executing omni-channel brand campaigns with preferred experience in pharma, technology, banking & finance, or CPG marketing.
  • Genuinely enjoys working closely with the sales team and the HCPs to uncover new ideas and test innovative concepts.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to navigate fast-changing environment.
  • Enjoys working on a small, but mighty, team.
  • Rapidly accepts challenging assignments that may require an undefined path to completion.
  • Proactively comes up with new ideas and has the grit to see them through to launch.
  • Solution oriented and can anticipate problems and implement solutions as they happen.
  • Exceptional project management skills and marketing savvy.
  • Strong storytelling, creative and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Solid business acumen and ability to translate business and brand strategy into marketing programs.
  • Strong written, organizational, and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various levels of leadership within the organization.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • This role can be hired as a Grade 18 or 19; candidate experience will determine grade.
