Purpose Statement

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.

Major Responsibilities:                                                                     

1. Support the marketing team in creating and executing marketing campaigns for AbbVie products.
2. Aid in organizing and coordinating marketing events, including conferences, workshops, and webinars.
3. Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales and marketing reports.
4. Conduct regular analyses of marketing data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
5. Localize global content / co develop content with agencies that drive consistent execution of marketing campaigns.
6. Implement integrated multi-channel marketing fostering the use of digital solutions.
7. Provide general administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

• Must be currently studying for a Pharmacy, Medicine qualification.
• Must be in senior years of studies (Essential) and willing to partake in a 3–6 month internship
• Must be agile, ambitious, innovative.
• Demonstrated leadership potential.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Keen desire for knowledge and attention to detail
• Must have an interest to build career within the medical and or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
• Able to be based in Cairo during the internship period.

Locations

Interns will be located at our Egypt office in Cairo.  However, some interns will be required to travel to other cities or go on field for certain missions and/or work from home from time to time.
