We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team at AbbVie. This role plays a key part in providing operational support to our Marketing Team, ensuring the smooth execution of marketing activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and assisting in event organization and content preparation. It is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment while working closely with both internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational and Administrative Support:
· Organize and assist in promotional and institutional events, including congresses and AbbVie-led meetings.
· Provide administrative support related to contracts, supplier coordination, and project documentation.
· Maintain and update marketing databases and files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Prepare presentations, reports, and supporting materials for marketing initiatives.
· Ensure that all marketing activities comply with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements, including Ethics and Compliance standards.
Stakeholder Coordination and Project Management:
· Serve as a liaison with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects.
· Coordinate requests and processes with internal stakeholders (In- field teams and Brand Teams) to ensure alignment and efficiency.
· Manage orders and logistics related to promotional materials and field marketing requirements.
Marketing Initiatives Support:
· Assist in the execution of digital and offline campaigns.
· Gather and organize data on campaign performance and prepare simple reports for internal use.
· Support content creation needs when required, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, or a related field.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with design or digital marketing tools is a plus.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
