The Market Access Value Proposition Manager Poland will champion payer perspective, share payer insights, anticipate payer changes, unmet needs and propose access strategies for the country’s top influential payers to optimize brand value for all relevant affiliate brands placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the external environment to identify cost containment measures and new business opportunities.
- Work with external stakeholders to prepare pricing studies and develop risk-sharing schemes
- Constant monitoring of publicly available healthcare data
- Monitoring and analyzing of publications in the area of drug expenditures in the health system
- Monitoring of the prices and costs of products placed on the refund
- Analysis of the service costs and drug therapy costs
- Monitoring risk-sharing schemes and payback.
- Preparation of financial models and calculators for drugs and services financed from public funds
- Preparing reimbursement dossiers together with pricing proposals for new and existing products in cooperation with Europan and Global MAVP
- Preparation of reimbursement dossiers
- Preparation of pricing schems for new and products already launched
- Co-operation with external experts to review the documents before submitting to the MoH
- Drafting correspondence addressed to the MoH and the payer.
- providing legal support: correspondence, analysis and development of legislative changes.
- Cooperation withing MA team, legal department, commercial team, financial team.
- Responsible for approving process of all documents to be submitted to authorities.
- Cooperation with commercial team in the ongoing business projects.
- Visits external stakeholders
- Attending congresses to strengthen external network and bring industry practices to AbbVie
- University degree
- 3-5 years working in pharmaceutical industry or within healthcare payer/provider or academic institution
- Knowledge of Poland market mechanics, healthcare policy and funding pathways
- Fluency in Polish & English (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking
- At least, 2 years of specific market access experience
- Knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles
- Knowledge of Poland market mechanics, healthcare policy and funding pathways
- Knowledge of payer mindset and motivations in Poland

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
