ACCESS & REIMBURSEMENT:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, government bodies, and key opinion leaders to enable product access.
- Design and implement market access strategies for broad patient reach.
- Monitor and interpret reimbursement policies and trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and advising on solutions.
- Develop and communicate value propositions tailored to local healthcare environments, with input from regional teams as needed.
- Ensure internal and external dissemination of value evidence and tools.
- Maintain compliance with market access and reimbursement regulations.
PRICING:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set competitive pricing strategies meeting market and patient needs.
- Analyze market dynamics and competitor pricing, lead negotiations with payers and authorities.
- Support financial and brand planning.
HEALTH ECONOMICS & OUTCOMES RESEARCH (HEOR):
- Lead HEOR projects to generate local evidence of product value; coordinate with global teams where necessary.
- Oversee development of economic models and submissions for payer and health technology assessment requirements.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in health economics, medicine, pharmacy or relevant scientific education. (MBA is a plus)
- 3+ years’ experience in pharma/biotech company in a management role.
- 2+ years’ experience in market access related role (Pricing experience is plus)
- Proven track record in payer’s management and implementing innovative access programs to broaden access.
- Ability to interpret and integrate market access strategies into actionable, value-added planning activities.
- Previous experience in Specialty will be an advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze healthcare landscapes, pricing, and market trends.
- Strategic Thinking: Developing and implementing market access strategies.
- Market Access Expertise: Deep understanding of market access principles, pricing, reimbursement, health economics, market access business cases and innovative access models (PHI and NGOs).
- Communication: Effective communication with internal teams in matrix organizations, healthcare professionals, Key decision makers and external stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating with payers and health authorities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare regulations in Egypt and Libya markets, HTA processes, Pricing and reimbursement pathways.
- Project Management: Managing multiple projects and timelines effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with payers, providers, and policymakers.
- Business Acumen: Understanding the impact of market access on overall business performance.
- Agility and Market Expertise: Adaptability in working across diverse work environments and cultures.
- Results Orientated: Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines with Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on achieving business objectives.
