Purpose
Maintain and optimize operations of existing products, processes, and systems to guarantee sustainability, efficiency, and reliability throughout their lifecycle by applying best practices in project management and operational excellence, ensuring compliance with procedures and applicable regulations.
Major Responsibilities
- Identify and implement methods, workstations, and plant layouts for quality, productivity, and optimal EHS conditions.
- Conduct waste analysis for process value and savings aligned with plant targets.
- Define, approve, update, and manage production standards to optimize headcount; evaluate impact of process changes or new operations/products.
- Guide continuous improvement teams (e.g., SWAT, Lean Thinker) in root cause analysis using Opex tools.
- Facilitate improvement implementations from continuous improvement teams.
- Create technical documents for process optimization and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures.
- Investigate and correct product defects and process failures using Opex methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS requirements, including internal strategies, controls, communication, and training.
- Continuously improve EHS outcomes through leadership, commitment, and participation in EHS initiatives.
- Other activities inherent to the role or assigned by the direct supervisor.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
Language:
- Intermediate English proficiency (B2).
Experience:
- At least 1 year implementing process improvements.
- At least 2 years in manufacturing processes within the medical industry.
- At least 1 year implementing document change controls and executing First Articles (desirable).
Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio.
- Basic business mindset.
- Intermediate continuous improvement and innovation skills.
- Intermediate problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate data-driven approach.
- Basic project management methodologies.
Desirables:
- Experience with SAP, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Power BI, simulation software, and time-study tools.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
