AbbVie Cork has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Coordinator to join our site on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
The supports the Production Manager in the daily operations of the department. The primary focus is on leading planning, KPI management, efficiency projects, and SAP administration to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supply chain to plan the manufacturing schedule.
- Serve as the SAP local key user, handling administration and optimization tasks
- Monitor production stock levels using SAP.
- Manage system changes for manufacturing products, including BOM generation, batch record updates, and product modifications.
- Identify and implement projects to improve production and business process efficiencies, focusing on yield increase, throughput time reduction, process flow improvement, cost reduction, waste elimination, and safety enhancement.
- Oversee production deviation systems, analyze trends, and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Lead the Lean Six Sigma initiative within the Production Department.- Ensure compliance with all quality requirements in every aspect of work.
- A relevant 3rd Level Qualification is required
- 3-4 years in a frontline role (e.g., supervisor, coordinator, specialist) within a production manufacturing environment, particularly in Oral Solid Dosage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and deliver effective presentations
- Experience in identifying and implementing projects to enhance production and business process efficiencies
- Proven track record in a continuous improvement environment using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts Expert working knowledge of SAP.
