• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across the area, setting clear expectations, promoting open communication and reinforcing a culture of accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement.

• Lead daily and weekly operational meetings to review the production schedule, staffing, priorities, performance, quality events, constraints and required actions; ensure decisions and actions are communicated and followed through.

• Translate the agreed manufacturing schedule into clear shift and team priorities, coordinating resources and escalating risks early to support reliable schedule attainment and timely product delivery.

• Manage, coach and develop team members through regular one-to-one meetings, performance feedback, talent development, succession planning, training and recognition; support recruitment and effective onboarding as required.

• Establish and maintain an effective meeting cadence with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and other support functions to align schedules, remove barriers, manage dependencies and close actions on time.

• Ensure coding, visual inspection and vacuum operations meet approved procedures, quality standards, GMP requirements and applicable regulatory expectations.

• Develop, maintain and periodically review visual inspection limits, procedures, training requirements and associated documentation.

• Monitor key performance indicators, address performance gaps and lead structured problem solving, continuous improvement and appropriate cost-saving initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, actively promoting safe behaviours and timely resolution of hazards and concerns.
