Identify opportunities to reduce operating cost and cycle time and increase efficiency; then leads projects to achieve these savings. Lead, develop, and grow a team of Business Excellence engineers delivering site improvement priorities. Improve the capability of the organization by assisting with training and mentoring personnel on Business Excellence tools and provide mentoring and leadership to Sponsors and kaizen candidates. Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Manage a portfolio of projects across the site, responsible for all aspects of project coordination, communication, and execution. Sets and manages expectations with stakeholders. Develop project plans to achieve successful project delivery within budget, scope and schedule. Clearly execute the functional responsibilities for a project providing oversight and guidance to achieve the project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates analysis of opportunities and risks, and identifies impacts and recommendations to the business
- Demonstrate leadership in setting and aligning project direction
- Directly manage a team of Business Excellence engineers, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and development planning
- Own the LSS certification pathway and capability roadmap for the team and broader engineering population
- Manages stakeholder relationships and expectations
- Ability to effectively execute LSS project management process, tools and templates
- Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality and cost objectives
- Support and motivate teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects
- Provide training and coaching to Sponsors and Kaizen leaders
- Minimum 8+ years business experience, minimum 5 years LSS experience
- 3+ years directly managing engineers or technical professionals
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred disciplines: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management
- Accredited LSS Green Belt Certification required; Black Belt or PMP preferred
- Strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Financial acumen and ability to assess project ROI

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.

Pay Range: $
109500 - 208500 USD
Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
