Job Description

Together, we break through – as a Manager Negotiation and Operations (Market Access)(all genders)

As a Market Access expert, the Manager Negotiation and Operations prepares, coordinates and supports the price negotiations with the GKV-Spitzenverband in close cooperation with the Negotiations Leads and the interdisciplinary negotiation teams.
In addition, she/he oversees and manages select projects within the Market Access Department in close collaboration with the Market Access Director and the Market Access Leadership Team to drive key initiatives and ensure effectiveness of the organization.

Make your mark

  • Responsible for coordinating, preparing, and supporting reimbursement amount negotiations with the GKV-Spitzenverband (§130b SGB V) on operative and strategic level from early preparations to final agreement and post-processing.
  • Compiles and administrates internal and external documents as well as resources including official negotiation documents.
  • Coordinates agendas and schedules and acts as contact person for the negotiation teams in all technical and administrative matters.
  • Prepares and participates in meetings, trainings, and simulations. Acts as sparring in trainings and simulations.
  • Responsible for coordinating, preparing, and supporting select projects and workstreams across the Market Access Department.
  • Facilitates a wide range of department processes such as strategic planning processes, decision making support, and operational management.

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree such as economics or scientific background
  • Strategic and conceptual way of thinking. Ability to prepare complex content for alignment with negotiation teams, other departments, and senior leadership.
  • Strong communicator and at the same time team player. Thanks to a reflective and empathetic personality, ability to quickly adapt to a variety of people, teams, and situations.
  • Has a broad range of interests and is extremely capable of learning. Analytical way of thinking helps to quickly familiarize with a variety of contexts, e.g. medical, legal, or economic.
  • Sound experience in project management skills and the ability to coordinate complex projects on the department level.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
