The Manager APS MDM Data Operations will join the MABI Center Data Operations team to support our Patient MDM Data Operations function. They will be responsible for developing and implementing APS MDM rules to ensure the accurate and consistent management of unique patient information across systems. This role will have a strong focus on data quality and governance. The Manager will oversee the integration of APS data from multiple systems into the central MDM platform, ensuring synchronization and defining data quality rules. They will lead a team of data stewards, resolving data anomalies and implementing standard operating procedures. Effective stakeholder management and collaboration with IT teams to implement MDM technology solutions are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the patient MDM strategy and roadmap, in alignment with overall data governance principles.
  • Support the establishment of data quality standards for patient records and contribute to the tracking of progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize patient data improvement initiatives.
  • Support the integration of patient data from multiple enrollment, engagement, and access management systems into the central MDM platform.
  • Assist in ensuring data synchronization and consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of data quality rules and cleansing procedures.
  • Support the management of a team of data stewards responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving patient data anomalies and discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data anomaly management.
  • Assist in providing training and support to data stewards on MDM best practices.
  • Collaborate with data owners, business system owners, platform owners, data operations teams, and other key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Assist in communicating patient MDM progress and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Support efforts to obtain buy-in and support for data quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement MDM technology solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest MDM technologies and trends.
  • Support efforts to ensure optimal performance and stability of the MDM platform.

**Can hire a candidate at Grade 18 or 19. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.**


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • 3+ years of related industry experience with real world data, data operations and/or BI.
  • Ability to distill complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of working with SQL, Python and Power BI/Tableau/Datorama
  • Experience with data and analytics environments for tracking and reporting KPIs.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment across commercial and marketing stakeholders.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with healthcare data systems and platforms.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment.
  • Experience with managing Patient services programs
  • Data quality tools and techniques (e.g., data profiling, cleansing, matching).
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
