Purpose: 

Performs minor installation, preventive maintenance, and repair activities on equipment used in packaging lines. Adjusts, dismantles, and installs equipment in accordance with established procedures, safety requirements, and applicable quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately documents all tasks performed in accordance with established procedures and compliance requirements.
• Supports cleaning activities and performs maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and corrects equipment failures and mechanical issues. Adjusts and/or repairs equipment as required to improve area efficiency, support OEE performance, and maintain product quality.
• Assists with feeding materials into packaging equipment throughout the packaging process.
• Understands and applies company safety rules, cGMP requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Inspects equipment and verifies that it operates within established parameters.
• Performs packaging line changeovers and configuration adjustments for different product presentations.
• Maintains the work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition while ensuring compliance with GMP requirements.
• Provides support to the Production Coordinator as needed.

Qualifications: 

• Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience is not required; however, relevant experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and/or electronic issues.
• Proficiency in the use of mechanical tools.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to perform responsibilities in accordance with supervisor or designee requirements.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
• Basic skills in the use and/or operation of computerized systems, electronic circuits, and interpretation of graphs or diagrams.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
