Your role:
Provide strategic and operational legal support to business areas, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, mitigating legal/reputational risk, and enabling compliant growth. The role covers broad legal matters with a strong focus on regulatory, public procurement/tenders, competition/antitrust, commercial contracting (public and private) and compliance. Manage external counsel and specialized consultants; no direct team.
You will be responsible for:
- Act as a strategic business partner to cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, Market Access, Medical, Finance, Supply, Compliance).
- Advise on pharma regulatory topics and interactions with health authorities, ensuring compliant decision-making.
- Support tenders and government contracting, including bid review, contracting, and administrative proceedings.
- Provide guidance on competition/antitrust risks (pricing/discounts, distribution arrangements, commercial policies, information exchange).
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts (public/private) with distributors, vendors, service providers, and strategic partners.
- Support distribution models and commercial policy implementation, ensuring alignment with legal/compliance requirements.
- Develop clear, pragmatic legal opinions and business-facing guidance.
- Coordinate corporate governance documentation aligned with company governance.
- Represent Legal in Brand Teams and key governance forums; support industry association engagement when requested in coordination with relevant functions.
- Partner with Compliance on policies, trainings, and investigations as needed.
- Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct and internal policies/procedures.

- Solid knowledge of regulated industries; ability to translate law into practical guidance
- Working knowledge of competition/antitrust and public procurement risks
- High standards for ethics, judgment, confidentiality, and compliance culture
- Strong written/oral communication and organization; ability to manage multiple priorities
Requirements:
- Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent)
- Consolidated legal experience in corporate settings; ideally regulated industries
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Postgraduate/specialization in Corporate/Business/Contract Law
- Spanish (plus)
- Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
