Main Responsibilities
- Leads and executes daily activities in Central Services (API) in order to assure materials are available on-time, in-full and right first time.
- Handles materials, sampling and tank farm activities to ensure materials are available on-time, in-full and right first time.
- Ensures compliance to SOPs, EHS guidelines, GDP or ALCOA+ principles and lead junior Pharmaceutical Technologists by examples.
- Communicates on-going activities and issues with Supervisor/Manufacturing Lead for all task being executed and communicates any anomalies/exceptions and suggest possible solutions (5S/Root Cause Analysis).
- Independently verifies and support other Pharmaceutical Technologists to ensure all activities in Central Services are carried out smoothly.
- Primary contact for troubleshooting, on-floor issue resolution and escalations of Central Services activities.
- Assists Supervisor/Manufacturing Lead in planning and leading Central Services activities.
- In the absence of supervisor, deputize the supervisor while on the shopfloor.
- Performs reviews of executed batch records and worksheets. Work with QA to resolve potential compliance issues.
- Support the team to ensure housekeeping, facilities fitness to achieve audit readiness.
Safety
- Anticipate or communicate any irregularities or risks that could affect safety, quality, or production schedule
- Leads safety risks assessments or participates in process hazard analysis as an operations representative (PHA)
- Works on safety related assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations
- Exercises good judgment when handling process safety related issues
- Had the ability to recognize when accepted practices and deviated from.
Quality
- Perform routine housekeeping and facilities fitness checks by ensuring all areas are always in an audit ready state
- Sufficient know-how in Central Services’ routine tasks and system for regulatory audits and inspections support.
- Partakes in quality risks assessments and walkdowns with Quality Operations team. Resolves exceptions under minimum supervision or independently.
- Possesses an excellent understanding of material handling systems (e.g. DeltaV, POMSnet, etc.)
Schedule
- Plans daily shift deliverables ahead, anticipate complexities and prevent potential delays
- Ensures processes are running as per planned schedule with minimal delays. Highlights effectively to supervisor if delays are expected.
- Clear ghost inventory regularly to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Familiar with INFOR and able to perform Central Services daily task planning.

- Highlight potential engagement risks to Production Support Supervisor.
- Act as Trainer for other Pharmaceutical Technologists
- Assists in developing JSTM training materials
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or equivalent is required, with at least 2 years of experience as a team leader in Manufacturing.
- GMP and GDP knowledge required.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Experience as trainer for operations procedures required.
- Excellent team player, with experience in shift work preferred.
- Leadership experience in leading a small team preferred.
- Agile and able to work in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
