Purpose
Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position.
Enrich the patient experience by working closely with the In-Field Teams to drive Close Loop Marketing engagement and customization, act as the Brand Team channel expert to guide campaign development and insight gathering across all stakeholder groups and create interactive and customized materials while supporting insights gathering through research and stakeholder visits placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities

- Lead digital listening and new channel research to strengthen Brand Team insights, synthesize cross-stakeholder insights in order to form a marketing perspective on Brand issues, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
- Liaise with Commercial Excellence to coordinate and execute market research and insights collection in order to inform Brand Planning and the Patient Journey.
- Optimize channel mix for Marketing and cross-functional campaigns. Advise others on the optimal use of channels in order to ensure Brand Story is consistently used / referenced and brought to life by Brand and In-Field Teams.
- Lead the tactical design and implementation of marketing initiatives to include innovative tactics to deliver holistic solutions, multi-channel opportunities to strengthen campaigns, multi-stakeholder initiatives and interactive and customized content for CLM.
- Play an active role with the In-Field Team and manage the CLM process in order to support IFT in the tactical execution.
- Develop and propose marketing inputs to the Brand Plan with a patient-centric focus. Maintain an up-to date understanding of customer perspectives through regular engagement with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Relevant marketing experience, ideally a diverse blend of healthcare and other industries and functions, including sales experience in any industry.

- Digital knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry business, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to apply strong patient empathy and understandings of customer needs when developing tailored messages and materials.
- Effectively manages projects and team members to ensure successful delivery of marketing-led initiatives.
- English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries)
- Preferred:
• Master’s degree and/or specific marketing qualifications
Key Stakeholders
Internal: Brand Team Leader, Brand Team Members, Area Marketing, and In-Field Teams.
External: Patients, Healthcare Providers, Key Opinion Leaders, Payers, Agencies, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry;
- Previous solid experience in Dermatology and Immunology is a plus
- Experience in the Sales or Access area will be considered a plus;
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare market;
- Knowledge of access to medicines in the private and public markets;
- Multichannel/digital strategy
- Fundamentals of finance;
- People management.
