Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Supply Chain Planner in managing inventory, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling, storing and organizing of materials. Responsible for properly stocking and distributing material batches in the fulfillment area. The position is responsible for maintaining orderly warehouse and fulfillment conditions, handling inventory adjustments, and ensuring compliance with licensure and Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
- Manage drug materials and inventory for the fulfillment technicians to minimize discrepancies (e.g., BATCH/LOT being utilized for orders, verifying pharmacy codes, and ensure products are being placed in the correct areas to correct inventory count).
- Oversee the opening and organization of all drug materials (drug products, medical supplies, prescription labels, ice for packages, boxes for shipments) within the pharmacy fulfillment area.
- Provide support to the Supply Chain Planner, which includes receiving, maintenance, destruction, and inventory adjustments in the SAP system.
- Engage in monthly inventory counts and analyze and escalate any discrepancies to the Supply Planner to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis on inventory and material returns to support decision-making processes in inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels and provide proactive recommendations to the Supply Chain Planner to avoid inventory shortages.
- Ensure the floor and warehouse is maintained in a neat, orderly, audit ready appearance.
- Maintain current licensure and CE requirements, as necessary.
- Identify and recommend process/system improvements that increase efficiency and productivity of respective functional areas and communicate with supervisor(s) and manager(s).
- Additional responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary for the business by Pharmacy Management.
- High School diploma required.
- Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Forklift License required.
- Knowledge and hand on experience with inventory management.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Specialty Pharmacy or Retail/Mail Order Pharmacy setting, familiarity with product fulfillment and inventory management in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to make independent, high-quality decisions and operate under general supervision.
- Individuals must meet applicable Pharmacy Technician Licensure and Pharmacy Technician Certification requirements no later than the first day of employment.
- Ability to work a schedule based on business needs.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
