Become a part of our interdisciplinary team at Analytical R&D in Ludwigshafen. Together we support development projects of new drug products with a special focus on characterization and stability of complex formulations. In this project you will contribute with your knowledge to improving patient health through enabling stable medications.
Your tasks include:
- mathematical modeling of drug degradation kinetics in amorphous formulations
- describing a network of degradation reactions complicated by diffusion
- modeling the effect of processing conditions on chemical stability glassy formulations.

And here are what we expect from you:
- current master’s study in chemical engineering, computational engineering, theoretical physics/chemistry, or a comparable degree program with good knowledge of physical chemistry and kinetic theories plus
- good programming skills (R, Python)
- enthusiasm for scientifically demanding challenges
- interest in transport processes and reaction kinetics
- good written and spoken German and/or English
We offer an internship for 6 months with a possibility of extending it to a following master's thesis. The starting date is flexible.
