In our Finance department within Commercial Pharma, you will be working in a team of talented people and experienced management experts. Through valuable analyses and research efforts, you will be laying down benchmarks and shaping the future of our brand. The role reports to Entity Finance Director.

Together, we break through – as Internal Controls Manager (all genders) permanent fulltime - in Ludwigshafen or Wiesbaden

Make your mark:

  • Develops Internal Control Mapping for Pharmaceutical and Aesthetics Businesses.
  • Highlights the awareness of internal controls within the various departments. Aligns with other Affiliates and implements Best-Practices of internal controls.
  • Coordinate initiatives to improve, simplify and optimize finance processes, identifying high, medium and low risk areas.
  • Manages end-to-end controls: from processes up to financial reconciliations
  • Is the “liaison” between the various cross-functional groups, businesses and Finance management to co-develop and implement the various projects and process improvements initiatives
  • Responsible of compliance monitoring of pharmaceutical business (excluding Aesthetics Business Unit)
  • Serves as consultant for all policy relevant topics
  • Coordinates communication and change management for key projects impacting processes
  • Ensure buy-in from all impacted users and stakeholders from finance projects and process changes
  • Management of resources and report for change management and project coordination
  • Responsible of preparing and coordinating Internal Audits with all relevant stakeholders within the Affiliate and Shared Service Organization
  • Coordinate and lead projects in the finance organization including the successful implementation of new or optimized processes.

Qualifications

  • University degree with at least 5 years of professional experience in Finance or Business Administration
  • Significant experience in big four or internal controls in an international company – including practical experience of sox controls
  • Strong communication and stakeholder senior management
  • Ability to drive projects and motivate cross functional teams
  • Ability to move into different finance roles
  • Auditor background is a plus.
  • Shared service center and matrix experience is a plus.
  • International mobility is a plus
  • Fluent in german and english
