Position Objective
Provide advanced university students with the opportunity to develop practical experience in Supplier Quality Engineering by supporting supplier quality activities, process improvement initiatives, quality investigations, and compliance efforts within a regulated healthcare and manufacturing environment.
The intern will collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to help ensure that materials, components, and services meet established quality, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Supplier Quality Engineers in the qualification, monitoring, and continuous improvement of suppliers.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of supplier quality documentation, including specifications, quality agreements, inspection requirements, and technical records.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Materials, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams.
- Assist with process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality and supply chain performance.
- Perform data collection, analysis, reporting, and information management using tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP, and other applicable systems.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, reports, and technical documentation for internal reviews and management updates.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Ensure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with applicable quality systems, Good Documentation Practices, EHS requirements, and company procedures.
General Requirements:
Active university student (with at least 50% of study plan completed) in one of the following areas: Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Biomedical, Materials, IT, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, etc.)
Maintain active student status and insurance policies as required by law and company policies.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2).
Strong Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel commonly required).
Ethical commitment, teamwork skills, initiative, adaptability, effective communication, organizational ability, and attention to detail.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
