Job Description

Are you passionate about product innovation and eager to develop both your interpersonal and technical skills? Join our dynamic R&D team as a Product Development Interim Intern, and contribute to impactful projects that drive real-world advances in product and process development.

Purpose Statement:

  • Develop interpersonal and technical skills while collaborating in impactful projects.
  • Support product and process development projects (NPI – New Product Introductions & MPS – Marketed Product Support) within the R&D function.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new materials, products/processes, or modifications to existing ones, including analysis and measurement methods.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Development Sub-Team on process/product development for NPI and MPS projects
  • Develop/support equipment testing, validation, and qualification
  • Support technical efforts or projects related to product design, especially those linked to regulatory agency responsibilities
  • Assist with change control, audits, CAPAs, complaint investigations, regulatory and marketing inquiries, related testing or data generation, and other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Location & Schedule:

  • Position based at Global Park, La Aurora de Heredia
  • Full-time availability required
  • Monday to Friday, 6 to 8 hours daily

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in university
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or higher degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Physical Engineering, or a related engineering field (70% or more of your program completed)
  • Fluent English speaker (B2/B2+; >80%)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Minitab, Solidworks or AutoCAD is desirable
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • No prior experience required
