Job Description

The In-Field Team Operations Associate plays a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of the Infield Team (IFT) through strategic operational execution and robust stakeholder collaboration. This position is responsible for implementing the IFT's strategic and capability-building plans, ensuring that all processes are effectively managed, clearly documented, and consistently updated to improve the experience customers have with AbbVie. This is a unique opportunity to work with AbbVie, recognised on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the 8th year in a row in 2025!

NOTE: This is a 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) permanent part time opportunity. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement IFTe strategic and capability building plans, effectively managing and enhancing IFTe processes that elevate infield team performance, additionally ensuring all processes are clearly mapped and regularly updated.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all IFTe processes and requirements, including actively triaging and addressing key IFT challenges by coordinating the relevant people to problem-solve. Drive strong collaboration across all internal stakeholders to ensure optimised execution outcomes.
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders, including data analysts to monitor KPI’s, providing regular reporting on key insights, including IFT opportunities and challenges.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and deliver IFT annual events, effectively managing all event logistics, communications and budgets.
  • Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie’s policies and procedures.
  • Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
  • Adhere to AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
  • Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Pharmaceutical Industry with sales and/or business operations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Customer and solutions focused, with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing, managing and improving process to drive business outcomes
  • Demonstarted impact in Pharmaceutical sales, Learning or Operational roles
  • Experience in CRM systems, platforms and production of associated reports.
