Job Description

The HR Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient operation of HR functions. This role involves managing and coordinating various HR activities while serving as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration activities
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data our systems and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Responsible for all absence management activities
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientations and paperwork and off-boarding activities
  • Organize and manage HR events, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about HR-related issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Support the HR financial activities and track versus budget (Pos, supplier contracts etc)
  • Drive various HR optimization projects (digitalization, AI integration etc)

Qualifications

  • Commercial education (Fachausweis) with a further education in HR (Swiss Federal HR Diploma) preferred
  • Min 2-3 years of previous experience in Payroll and HR admin role
  • Basic knowledge of Swiss employment regulations and standards
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
