Purpose
The Office of Health Literacy Coordinator collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to support health literacy activities in PSEQ, aiming to improve clinical trial safety and safe medication use. The coordinator will be responsible for conducting user testing interviews, gathering and analyzing feedback, and effectively communicating the findings. This role aims to enhance the quality and usability of patient-facing tools by improving their understandability and actionability based on user input. This position will support the Office of Health Literacy in their work with Product Safety Teams, Benefit Risk Management, Area PV Product Leads, and other functions.
Responsibilities.
- Conduct user testing interviews with representative patients to evaluate the health literacy design of key product safety tools, such as clinical trial lay summaries and risk materials.
- Collect and organize patient feedback obtained from user testing sessions, documenting the results for future reference and analysis.
- Assist in analyzing lay feedback to identify trends and patterns in user behavior and satisfaction and communicate the findings to cross-functional teams.
- Support the creation of user testing interview guides that accurately capture pertinent insights and align with the objectives of evaluating the patient-facing tool.
- Participate in the development of novel health literacy programs in collaboration with partners.
- Review patient facing materials using plain language principles and evidence-based health literacy best-practices to ensure the information is understandable and actionable.
- Support and coordinate meetings with team members to foster and contribute to the creative development of health literacy projects and discuss project deliverables.
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of project management and quality improvement processes.
- Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
- Learns, fast, grasps the 'essence' and can change the course quickly where indicated.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
