This position is covering AbbVie's external engagement towards selected policymakers and other key stakeholders related to AbbVie’s above-brand corporate positioning work.
Main responsibilities are developing policy input, collecting information about ongoing processes and supporting AbbVie’s effort to establish and develop constructive dialogues with political stakeholders on themes within common interests for AbbVie and the external environment. The position will also contribute to developing strategies for AbbVie’s political engagements and priorities and ensure that these are executed in a good way.
Moreover, the position supports all AbbVie teams on questions related to government affairs.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to build strong and trusted relationships with policy makers, decision-makers and civil servants to shape a favorable environment for our Brands and support our license to operate.
- Continually deepen understanding of Healthcare environment, map relevant stakeholders, understand and follow their position and messages on local health care policies and identify key challenges and opportunities for AbbVie.
- Develop the network of contacts, establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders relevant AbbVie Brands/Global goals and objectives, and leverage the relationships to increase AbbVie's reputation and ensure our Brands’ Market Access and maintenance.
- Proactively identify opportunities for AbbVie and create favorable environment to achieve business objectives
- Participate in Area GA network, share best practices and key learning and identify possible synergies or common projects to work on.
- Ensure internal alignment across Scandinavia and support team members with regards to their external engagements and work with agendas towards national healthcare politicians, payer organizations and policy-makers.
Qualifications:
- Higher education
- Relevant experience from organizational work in health care or politics or from Public Affairs Agency
- Existing network with regional health care stakeholders and political landscape
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Positive teamplayer
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Fluent in Danish would be preferable
