This position is covering AbbVies external communication towards policymakers and other key stakeholders related to corporate communication and defined brands.
The position is to develop policy input, collect information about ongoing processes and helt AbbVie communicate clearly to stakeholders and secure favorable environment for our company. The position will also contribute to develop the setting the strategy for AbbVie’s external engagements and priorities and secure that these are executed in a good way.
The position also supports all AbbVies Patient engagement managers on questions related to government affairs.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to build strong and trusted relationships with Policy Makers to shape a favorable environment for our Brands and guarantee our freedom to operate
- Continually deepen understanding of Healthcare environment, map relevant stakeholders (e.g.,. Politicians, Healthcare/Drug Agencies, Patient and Physician Associations and Trade Bodies), understand their role in future Healthcare policies and identify key challenges and opportunities for the Affiliate and specific Brands
- Develop the network of contacts, establish and maintain strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders crucial to AbbVie Brands/Global goals and objectives, and leverage the relationships to increase AbbVie's reputation and ensure our Brands Market Access and maintenance
- Proactively identify opportunities for ABBVIE and create favorable environment to achieve business objectives and defend AbbVie vs. government policies that could harm the organization
- Participate in Area GA network, share best practices and key learning and identify possible synergies or common projects to work on.
- Ensure internal alignment across Scandinavia and support team members in external engagements.
- Higher education in relevant field
- Relevant experience within organizational work, healthcare or politics
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
- Positive teamplayer
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
