Your Role:

Responsible for supporting GM in overseeing and managing the strategic direction and execution of projects within an organization. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, project management skills, and leadership abilities. This position forms part of the affiliate management team and requires leadership impact as well as strong presentation and analytical skills.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing medium-long term strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and formulating strategies to drive growth and success.
• Project Management: Leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Building and leading cross-functional teams to execute projects effectively, including launch excellence programs and international visits. This involves assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, resolving conflicts, and motivating team members to achieve project goals.
• International and Area Stakeholder Management: Identifying and engaging key stakeholders, including senior management and partners. This includes establishing effective communication channels, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment between project objectives and stakeholder needs. Preparing and presenting project status reports, progress updates to Area - International, and other documentation to key stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. This involves conducting risk assessments, implementing risk management plans, and monitoring and controlling risks.
• Performance Monitoring Governance: Lead tracking project performance against established metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). This includes managing a robust governance in the Leadership Team around data analysis, areas for improvement, corrective actions implementation to ensure project success.

• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance project management methodologies and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• New growth platforms: Oversee new business processes improvement to propose and champion to Leadership team. Consolidate, track and follow up ensuring pace to Road Map of opportunities. Explore possible partnerships and ventures such for new or transitioned business models and segments

Pre-requirements:

• Master’s degree in a business discipline
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Project Management Certification
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills are essential for this role. The ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies to achieve organizational goals is crucial
• Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills are necessary to effectively lead cross-functional teams and drive project success. This includes the ability to motivate and inspire team members, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative work environment
• Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively communicating project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders. The ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner is important;
• Project Management Experience: Prior experience in project management is typically required. This includes a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Strategic Planning Experience: Experience in strategic planning and execution is highly desirable. This includes developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills: The ability to identify and solve problems, make informed decisions, and manage risks is crucial for a strategic management and project lead. This includes critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Financial Management Skills: Basic financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting (S&OP).
• Adaptability and Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is important in this role. Being flexible and able to adjust plans and strategies as needed is crucial.
• 5+ years of combined strategy planning experience and/or business development
• Proven experience working with financial modeling, annual operating plans, and business pipeline assessments
• Experience in Medical Aesthetics, pharma, consultancy is a plus
• Experience developing business cases to capture effort and/or investment request
