Role description
The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analytical processes for the Italy & Greece cluster. The role requires a strong finance background, excellent analytical capability, and the discipline to manage planning cycles, governance requirements, and ad hoc business analysis with accuracy and accountability.
This position is best suited to a candidate who is structured, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven finance environment. The role also requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with commercial stakeholders while maintaining finance rigor and control.
Main Responsibilities:
Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Performance Analysis
- Support the cluster planning processes, including Plan, LBE, and LRP, ensuring accurate and timely integration of sales, pricing, and investment assumptions.
- Prepare high-quality sales reporting, forecasting packages, and key metric analyses at cluster level.
- Monitor business performance, identify key trends and variances, and provide clear analytical insight to support decision-making.
- Work closely with EUCAN Finance and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with calendar deadlines and planning standards.
Finance Governance and Controls
- Support the maintenance of strong finance governance across relevant processes.
- Review and maintain documentation related to SOX and internal control requirements.
- Identify gaps or weaknesses in controls and proactively support process improvements.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to respond to audit and compliance requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Business Support
- Provide analytical support on business questions such as product launch scenarios, channel and product mix impacts, and other key commercial drivers.
- Support finance-led or global systems/process initiatives as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting, and analytical tools.
Profile:
Background and Experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a similar analytical finance role.
- Proven experience supporting planning cycles, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Exposure to finance controls, governance, or SOX-related activities is strongly preferred.
- Background in Commercial finance or FP&A roles from similar industry (Pharma) or retail in a multinational environment is preferred. Experience in Big Four audit companies would be an advantage.
Technical / Professional Skills
- Strong command of SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work with large data sets, build clear analyses, and translate numbers into meaningful insights.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, planning disciplines, and reporting standards.
- Strong knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
