The Financial Analyst supports the US Skincare team, comprised of SkinMedica, Diamond Glow and Latisse as well as upcoming pipeline assets. The individual must develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the business to facilitate optimal decision making through cross-functional collaboration with various teams such as Marketing, Sales, MABI, Pricing, Gross-to-Net and Loyalty Programs, Commercial Finance, Operations, Customer Service and FSS. This role offers opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership in Allergan Aesthetics (AA) and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and develops drafts of annual Plan, LRP and LBEs as required, including headcount, expenses, other manufacturing costs, and capital as needed using SAC planning system.
- Prepares SG&A variance analysis for each planning cycle and management reporting schedules under direction of Manager.
- Prepares and distributes monthly actuals package to business highlighting drivers of variance in gross sales, discounts, and gross margin by Brand.
- Lead weekly Sales Pacing calls with marketing and sales leadership to forecast our monthly landing and gain insights into Skincare channel dynamics.
- Partner with cost center owners for accurate tracking and management of promotional budget, including cost center gaiting, analysis by vendor/events and HC tracking.
- Works directly with Accounting Shared Service contact on monthly accruals, close and financial reporting processes to ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis and commentary for P&L, headcount, and balance sheet. Understands monthly results and communicates issues vs. benchmark to Manager to agree on resolution or action plan.
- Supports demand loading in ADS/JDA, including trade, samples, promotions, and statistical forecasting review.
- Supports capital process, including RCE preparation and review in accordance with financial policies.
- Provides financial reviews and approvals (purchase order requests and invoices).
- Performs ad hoc analysis and forecasts for internal management team and external customers as requested.
- Works closely with other departments within AbbVie to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved.
- Streamline and seeks for SG&A process simplification, levering PowerBI and SAC.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Preferred 2+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Execute priorities established by the Manager with speed and agility.
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business partnering and cross functional collaboration
- Proficient Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of SAP, SAC, and PowerBI a plus.
Key Stakeholders: FSS, Finance, Pricing, Marketing, Commercial teams.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
