Based at AbbVie’s office in Zwolle, the Financial Analyst is responsible for reliable financial and business reporting and ensuring good governance by informing stakeholders with relevant figures, facts, and analysis. By doing so, the Analyst makes a valuable contribution to the “Control Tower” function VLOG has within AbbVie. The Financial Analyst is part of a team of 4 analysts and reports to a Finance Lead. The Financial Analysts will support the Finance Lead and/or the Controller directly and indirectly by making a substantial contribution to the VLOG Finance business plan. He/she is aware of and works within the legal and company regulations and actively contributes to the governance processes and culture.

Reporting of monthly financial results for the AbbVie External Manufacturing (ECM) organization, performed from two legal entities based in the Netherlands.
Direct ownership of monthly TPM Product and Project accruals, reclasses and various cost allocation journal entries, in partnership with Finance Shared Services.
Key stakeholder in monthly performance estimates and yearly Financial Performance Plan
Support AbbVie product launches and ensure end to end Finance readiness
Act as point of contact for the Supply department regarding planned shipments, material cost and spend
Look for ways to optimize finance systems/models and help roll out global project implementations
Develop strong partnership with Purchasing (PSM) to understand impacts of Terms and Conditions within our TPM Contracts.
Lead annual Physical Inventory counts at Third Party Manufacturers in scope.
Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for AbbVie consigned inventory at TPMs.
Coordinate and / or prepare special ad hoc information requests or projects to support local, division or corporate management

More specifically, we ask the following of you:
· Master in business economics or accountancy (CPA) at university level (or Bachelor degree)
· At least 3 years of experience in a related finance role
· Understanding of US and local GAAPs, internal controls and financial reporting is beneficial
· Strong analytical skills and deep MS office knowledge within a financial environment required
· Preferably experience with logistical processes and/or international matrix organization
· Prior experience with SAP is beneficial
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required
· Work well both in a team and autonomously
· Flexible in working hours, priority shifts and helping out the team where needed
You have a right to work in the Netherlands and live at reasonable distance from our Zwolle office.
