Job Description

The Finance Supervisor, Consolidations and Reporting, reports to the Sr. Manager, Consolidations and Reporting.  This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the reporting and consolidation of companies' consolidated financial results and the accurate and timely reporting of companies' consolidated Income Statement on a monthly basis. Additionally, this position assists the senior manager, consolidations and reporting, in the preparation of the monthly reporting package (P&L), key product sales report, and specified expense summary report.     

Responsibilities:

  • Executes selected monthly close responsibilities including the preparation of various SAP or HFM journal entries and the preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline.
  • Assists with the preparation of the Monthly Reporting Package (MRP), companies' consolidated internal income statement package, and the monthly key product sales report, companies' consolidated internal sales by product package. This may include, among other things, maintaining the underlying reporting models and the execution of underlying processes and coordination of data collection. This will also include working with organizational financial management to understand significant variances against various benchmarks and drafting related commentary. Attention to detail and accuracy and adherence to established deadlines are critical success factors in this role.
  • Assists with the governance and consolidation of specified items (one-time charges) to support the calculation of non-GAAP financial results of operations included in the MRP. This may include performing a monthly detailed review of transactional data to categorize activity appropriately for reporting; monitoring specified items for compliance; and assisting with the setup of master data to ensure the approved activity will be captured and reported appropriately.
  • Assists in implementing the required accounting for any legal entity changes, reorganizations, mergers, and liquidations. This may include the review of supporting transactional documents to identify the relevant accounting adjustments required; drafting the relevant accounting entries; coordination with FSS to record the relevant entries in the timeframe required; and verify the completeness and accuracy of the recorded entries.
  • Works with the companies' internal and external auditors for audit and accounting-related requirements including assisting in the preparation of various consolidated analyses.
  • Performs ad hoc financial reporting and analysis and assisting with special projects or initiatives, as assigned, which vary based on companies' business transactions and priorities.
     

Qualifications

Qualifications

List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • CPA or MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience required in accounting or finance roles. Prior experience in a consolidations or corporate accounting role a plus.  
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP, HFM and Workiva systems and functionality. 
  • Working knowledge of BIP, Blackline and strong Excel skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet tight timelines and balance competing priorities and customer/stakeholder demands. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy and a strong focus on continuous improvement. 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment. 
  • A highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and collaborate effectively with partners outside of the core team.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
