The Finance Manager leads capital financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Business Technology Solutions (BTS). This role owns Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE), and Long-Range Plan (LRP) processes, provides variance analysis and insights, and supports leadership decision-making on capital allocation.
Responsibilities
- Lead latest best estimate, annual, and long-range planning for BTS DHQ capital and project expense, including P&L, balance sheet, and capital submissions to Corporate FP&A
- Support BTS capital planning cycles across Global Commercial, R&D Information Research, Operations, and Corporate Services
- Develop planning timelines, assumptions, and guidance to meet corporate deadlines and planning deliverables
- Own monthly variance analysis and present risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership and budget owners
- Oversee Construction in Progress governance, capitalization reviews, KPI tracking, and annual impairment analyses to ensure compliance and financial accuracy
- Maintain and enhance depreciation models to improve forecasting accuracy and long-range projections
- Serve as capital subject matter expert by reviewing Requests for Capital Expenditure for policy compliance and financial integrity
- Partner with Project Accounting during month-end and year-end close to ensure accurate recording of capital assets and impairments
- Provide financial guidance to BTS leadership to support capital allocation and investment trade-off decisions
- Manage and mentor one direct report, supporting professional development and effective workload management across competing priorities
- Drive process improvements that increase transparency, strengthen capital financial operations, and support high-quality business decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 7-10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience with focus on FP&A and Capital management required.
- 2+ years of people management/supervisory experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams, influence without authority, and interact with both technical and business partners.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and systems.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.
- Background in IT/Technology finance and capital-intensive environments preferred.

Pay Range: $
109500 - 208500 USD
Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
