Lead or cooperate with stakeholders to strive for commercial operation excellence, ensure legal entity performance control effectiveness, act as finance BP for supporting functions, support FD and FC to drive cross functional projects in China, build in-depth analysis and monitor scheme to ensure profitable growth and capital efficiency.
Major Responsibilities:
Commercial Operation Finance Management:
- Cooperate with Commercial Operation team to perform distributor agreement review, credit limit review, order release, price change management, review compensation & credit note as finance gate keeper, to ensure full alignment with company policy, SOP, external legal requirements and industry practice.
- Support Finance Controller to oversee value chain design in relation to business model (AX & DX light) and channel strategy (Multi-Channel), identify potential operational risks and propose mitigation measures.
Month end Closing:
- Month-end accrual & provision validation and pre-check, eg. PO/Compensation/Inventory/AR/ SIP.
- Monthly closing legal entity report validation and pre-check (BS, P&L, Statutory report, cash flow, Tax report etc.).
Legal Entity Control:
- Legal entity expense control, incl. ICB, capital investment (RCE), annual insurance cost, facility and rental cost allocation, ACA expense management.
- Analyse and monitor DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), DOH (Days of Inventory on Hand) and DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) and liaison with key stakeholders to optimize cash flow.
- Cooperate with Tax COE for annual TP filing.
- Follow up financial subsidy and government return.
Finance BP for Supporting Functions:
- Support FC to actively manage and drive the yearly Plan, Long Range Plan, Latest Business Estimates and daily budget control for supporting functions.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports and packages for supporting functions by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.
- Perform financial analysis and other ad-hocs, as directed by management, and recommend alternatives courses of action by utilizing appropriate financial tools.
Financial Project Management:
- Coordinate Global finance projects with focus on RTR/OTC.
- Lead or cooperate with stakeholders to manage affiliate initiated projects.
Education/Experience Required:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Economics.
- Prefer 3+ years Pharma MNCs inhouse finance working experience with sound tracking record.
- Big 4 background is a plus.
- Professional accountancy qualifications is a plus, ie. CPA/ACCA.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English language
