Purpose:
Help enhance the analytics and technology capabilities that will transform how clinical trial investments are planned, monitored, and understood. As the Finance Lead in Center of Excellence Clinical Trials, you will be the execution engine, translating the strategic vision into data, dashboards, insights, tools, and scalable forecasting capabilities used across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for Finance and business stakeholders
- Help establish a trusted, consistent data foundation for clinical trial forecasting.
- Develop new analytical capabilities as business needs evolve.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve data quality, speed, and scalability through automation
- Develop analytics to validate clinical trial modeling assumptions and identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and potential forecast risks.
- Support the development and ongoing enhancement of systems and tools used for clinical trial financial forecasting.
- Help design and implement the new financial system for clinical trial forecasting.
- Support integration of financial forecasting data with existing clinical trial and operational systems.
- Maintain and develop dashboards that bring together clinical trial financial and operational data from multiple systems.
- Partner with Clinical Development Operations, BTS, and other functions to connect financial and operational information.
- Test and scale new AI-enabled capabilities.
- Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Clinical Trial Finance and their embedded clinical trial forecasters to understand business needs and improve CoE solutions.
Required:
- BA/BS degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Health/Life Sciences preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant finance experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with an ability to work comfortably with large, complex, and disparate datasets.
- Experience developing or managing dashboards, reporting solutions, analytics, or financial systems.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical data and technology solutions.
- Strong interest in AI, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging Finance technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Finance, Clinical, Data, and Technology organizations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a new and evolving environment where the role involves both solving today's problems and building tomorrow's capabilities.
Preferred:
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience strongly encouraged.
- Experience with SAP, BPC, ClinPro, Power BI, and/or Clin2Pay.
- Experience with data visualization tools, analytics platforms, or financial planning systems.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Pay Range: $
96500 - 183500 USD
Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
